Questions about the procedure:

What are Dental Implants exactly?

Your teeth have a ‘head’ and ‘leg(s)’, think of dental implants as being the ‘leg’ portion. They are small titanium screws, that when placed in the jawbone, will ‘harden’ over time, thereby providing a good platform to replace the ‘head’ of the tooth with a dental crown.

How long will my implants last?

If well taken care of, implants can last an entire lifetime! However, many factors such as: diet, oral hygiene, medical conditions, and habits such as grinding your teeth might affect the longevity of implants.

Questions about the procedure:

How are bridges done?
  1. The supporting teeth will be trimmed, and given a ‘hair-cut’ in order to make space for the bridge material.
  2. A 3D scan would be done to capture the trimmed teeth, and this information would be sent to the laboratory.
  3. A temporary bridge would be prepared and cemented on the teeth.
  4. You will return about 1-2 weeks later for the cementation of the final bridge from the laboratory.
  5.
